Peter Larimer, ASLA, LEED AP

Peter Larimer joined MTWgroup in 2003, after working as a landscape construction manager for several years out of college. Since joining MTWgroup, he quickly moved into a management role and was promoted to a principal in 2009. With over two decades of experience, he creates iconic yet low maintenance designs for projects throughout Northern California. With over 400 projects in his portfolio, he offers clients exciting designs and experienced guidance to ensure the success of their projects.

Bryan Walker, ASLA

PRINCIPAL

Bryan Walker joined MTWgroup in 2005. As the lead designer, Bryan was quickly recognized for his knowledge, creativity, and passion for landscape architecture and promoted to principal in 2011. Prior to joining MTWgroup, he obtained a degree in landscape architecture from the University of California, Davis where he continued honing his knowledge of the Sacramento Valley climate, native plantings, irrigation requirements and the community. Bryan’s professional insight and ability to clearly communicate project details with stakeholders comes from his expertise in the field. With over 400 projects in his portfolio, Bryan brings extensive landscape design experience to clients and is intimately involved in the design concepts for all MTWgroup projects.

Maddy Mansouri

  • Maddy Mansouri has a deep appreciation for the role outdoor spaces play in childhood development. With a degree in Urban Planning from Azad University in Iran, she is passionate about designing parks and playgrounds that encourage creativity and exploration. One of her most memorable projects was the playground for the Sacramento State Child Care Center, where she saw firsthand the joy her work brought to children. She is excited to continue designing engaging, interactive environments that inspire play and bring communities together.

Alex Contreras

  • Alex Contreras has always been drawn to the intersection of design and sustainability. With a degree in Sustainable Environmental Design from the University of California, Davis, he is passionate about creating spaces that are not only functional and visually appealing but also environmentally responsible. At MTWgroup, he has worked on a variety of residential, civic, and commercial projects, with a particular focus on outdoor gathering spaces. For Alex, the most rewarding part of his work is seeing people connect with green landscapes and thoughtfully designed public spaces.

Lynn Geng

  • For Lynn Geng, design is about more than aesthetics—it’s about creating meaningful spaces that bring people closer to nature. Her background in landscape architecture, along with international research experience in urban planning in Barcelona, has shaped her approach to balancing beauty and functionality. Since joining MTWgroup, she has been involved in park renovations and nature reserve projects, ensuring that these spaces serve both the environment and the community. She finds inspiration in the challenge of blending nature with urban life, designing landscapes that foster relaxation, exploration, and connection.
