About The Project

The expansion of Memorial Hospital presented MTWgroup with the opportunity to create a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The landscape plan for the expanded facility was meticulously developed to enhance the overall experience on campus while addressing practical needs. The redesign also included a new patient drop-off and pick-up area, enhancing convenience and accessibility.

The grand fountain, featuring a statue with a large water fall and elegant pool, was strategically placed to serve as an inviting entry element, enhancing the first impression of the hospital grounds. This water feature not only serves as a striking focal point but also contributes to a calming atmosphere.

MTWgroup’s approach to planting was both thoughtful and seasonal, utilizing drought-tolerant and regionally adaptive plants to ensure sustainability and year-round interest. The planting plan was designed to offer a continuous display of blooms and visual appeal through various seasons, creating a dynamic and engaging landscape.

Throughout the project, MTWgroup worked closely with the Adventist Health maintenance staff to ensure that the landscaping design not only met aesthetic and functional goals but also prioritized ease of maintenance and long-term care.
