About The Project

The luxury community of Blackstone Estates in El Dorado Hills required a landscape design that complemented its upscale $1M+ homes and took advantage of the area's scenic views of the Sacramento Valley. MTWgroup was enlisted to create landscape plans for the model homes in this 150 home development, addressing the unique challenges posed by the site's
hillside location.

One significant aspect of the project was the need to integrate a large retaining wall adjacent to numerous lots due to the hillside cuts. To enhance visual appeal and blend with the natural surroundings, MTWgroup designed an elaborate water feature to mask the retaining wall, adding both aesthetic charm and a focal point to the landscape.

Outdoor living spaces were a central theme in the landscape design, incorporating high-end elements such as outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pizza ovens, and decorative paving. Each model home also featured tailored water features and site-specific lighting plans, ensuring that the outdoor areas were as inviting and functional as they were visually striking.

MTWgroup's design approach not only addressed the topographical challenges but also created luxurious and engaging outdoor environments, enhancing the overall appeal of the community.
