About The Project

The development of a model home complex in El Dorado Hills, California, presented a unique opportunity for MTWgroup to enhance a community nestled within the foothills. The scope of the project involved designing comprehensive landscape plans for the model homes that harmonized with the natural terrain while integrating sustainable practices.

A notable feature of the project was the extensive use of reclaimed water for irrigation, which required MTWgroup to develop detailed irrigation plans and secure necessary certifications. This approach not only supported the community's environmental goals but also ensured the landscaping could thrive in the arid climate of the foothills. The design focused on blending the community’s green spaces with the surrounding landscape, utilizing the reclaimed water to maintain lush, attractive plantings and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the community’s landscape.
